MP: man looted of jewellry worth Rs 25 lakh

A jeweller was today relieved of ornaments worth Rs 25 lakh from outside his shop, a stone's throw away from the City Kotwali police station here.
Two motorcycle-riding youths picked up the bag and fled as Nitu Soni, the victim, was struggling to open the door of his shop. Soni had kept the bag on his two-wheeler, said inspector Pankaj Tyagi.
Soni took home the jewellery every weekend and brought it back to the shop on Monday morning. \
However, he had a difficulty opening the lock today as the thieves had probably stuffed it with something. Police are conducting further probe.
