Naxals kill 2 villagers in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra

Naxals killed two persons in separate incidents in the district, police said today.

The victims identified as Suryabhan Tembhurne (38), resident of village Wako, and Panchamsingh Koreti (65), resident of village Sonpur were killed by naxals last night.

Two women naxals including a self-styled deputy commander were killed during an encounter in the area last week.

Yesterday's killings could be a retaliation, the police said.
