New Minister joins Jayalalithaa ministry in TN

The newly inducted minister C Vijayabaskar was sowrn-in today by state Governor K Rosaiah at a brief ceremony held at Raj Bhavan.

Vijayabaskar, representing the Viralimalai Assembly Constituency has been allocated the Health and Family Welfare portfolio by Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

K C Veeramani from the Jolarpettai Assembly Constituency, who held Health and Family Welfare was shifted to School Education Department.

Speaker P Dhanapal, Jayalalithaa, some of her ministerial colleagues and top officials of the administration were present on the occasion.
