One killed in group clash

firing incident here when members of two groups clashed over an old rivalry, police said.

The deceased was identified as Shamshu.

"The clash broke out between Jhuhur and Subba groups over an old enmity in Kemla villages. Someone from them opened fire in which Shamshu received bullet injuries. He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead," police said.

Six people have been detained in this connection, they added.
