A NASA engineer has developed an online tool that calculates your odds of being lucky in love.
Rashied Amini, a systems engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, has created the tool Nanaya that predicts your chances of finding the mathematically ideal partner.
For Nanaya to assess the likelihood of finding a good match, users fill out a detailed questionnaire.
A personality test pinpoints different facets of the user's personality and the characteristics they would like in a partner by asking them to pick from a series of images.
Another set of questions then identifies how likely they are to meet new people in their daily life, 'New Scientist' reported.
The results are fed into a simulation that randomly mixes traits across a population of potential matches.
Nanaya also gives scores that measure how much a user's social network could grow with a given mate, their overall romantic opportunity, and a graph of their prospects over the next few years.
Those who are already in a relationship will also be asked a set of questions that scores them on their compatibility and happiness with their partner.
