Over two lakh people covered under centre sponsored schemes

Jammu and Kashmir government today said it has provided assistance to over two lakh people under various centre sponsored schemes in the last financial year.

Under various centrally-sponsored projects, including Integrated Social Security and Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension schemes, "as many as 2,05,173 beneficiaries were provided an assistance Rs 7,572.399 lakh till March 2013", Jammu Social Welfare Department Director said.
