Panchayat member dies of electrocution in Odisha

A member of Panchayat Samiti was electrocuted while he was repairing an electric motor in Jagannath prasad area here, police said.

Gayaganda panchayat samiti member Niranjan Sethi (40) was repairing an electric motor when the incident happened, Tarsingi police station in-charge Anirudh Muduli said.

A case has been registered and the body has been sent for post-mortem, the officer said.
