The police Sunday busted an illegal gun factory in Garhwa district and seized some weapons from a house.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer Prakash Tiwari told reporters that after getting a tip-off, the police raided the house of Muni Viswakarma and found the illegal gun factory being run at Parthia village under Sadar police station.
Muni Viswakarma and his two sons---Anjan and Pawan, were arrested, Tiwari said.
One country-made rifle, three country-made guns, one country-made pistol, one 5.56 mm bullet and several half-made weapons were recovered following the raids, the SDPO said.
