Policemen suspended for dereliction of duty

Constables Brijmohan, Virendra Nautiyal and Virendra Singh were suspended after being found wanting in the performance of their duties during a surprise check by newly-appointed SSP Keval Khurana last night.

An other constable Sudesh Kumar was suspended on charges of extortion, they said.

The decision came amid complains of deteriorating law and order situation in the capital.
