Property dealer murder: Court rejects SP leader's bail plea

A Muzaffarnagar court today rejected the bail plea of a Samajwadi Party leader in the murder of a property dealer.

District Judge B S Kakkar rejected the plea of Sudheer Goel, saying "there is no case of bail here", according to government counsel Dushyant Tyagi.

Goel, a former SP district treasurer, and his son Amit were booked by the police for the murder of a local property dealer Aamir Alam, who was shot dead in Khatoli area of Muzaffarnagar on 22 October last year.
