Punjab Assembly budget session from March 11

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the state Cabinet, presided over by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, an official spokesman said.

The session will commence on March 11 with Governor Shivraj Patil's address.

The budget estimates for 2013-14 will be presented by Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa on March 22, the spokesman said.
