All government buildings across Punjab will hoisted United Nations flags on the occasion of UN Day tomorrow, an official spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said that as per the instructions received from the Union Home Ministry, the Flag of United Nations is to be hoisted along with the National Flag.
"Written instructions in this regard have also been issued to all the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners in Punjab," he said.
United Nations Day is devoted to making known to people of the world the aims and achievements of the United Nations Organisation. It is part of United Nations Week, which runs from 20 to 26 October.
