Raj minister hit by scooter, hospitalised

Rajasthan Education Minister Vasudev Devnani was today injured after allegedly being hit by a scooter while he was crossing a road in Ajmer city.

Devnani suffered a fracture in his leg and has been hospitalised, Superintendent of JLN Hospital, Ajmer, P C Verma said.

"The minister attended a programme in the city and was crossing the road to go to another place along with his supporters when a scooter driver hit him," he said.

The doctors have suggested an operation on his injured ankle, he added.
