Refined soya oil prices declined by 0.19 per cent to Rs 643.60 per 10 kg in futures trading today as participants reduced positions on the back of subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August fell by Rs 1.25 or 0.19 per cent to Rs 643.60 per 10 kg with an open interest of 87,510 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by traders owing to slackened demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks position mainly weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
