'Avatar' actor Sam Worthington is grateful to have met his model partner Lara Bingle.
The 31-year-old actor has been quiet about his relationship with Bingle, reported Daily Telegraph.
"I'm very happy and I've met someone I'm very grateful for. She's down to Earth," Worthington said.
The couple are believed to have met in New York in late September after being introduced by a mutual friend.
The actor had not made his relationship to the model public for a long time.
However, the couple recently shared their picture on Instagram.
