Samaritan helps Canadian woman recover lost belonging

A Canadian woman recovered her lost bag containing passport, money and other valuables due to the Samaritan ways of a local resident, police said today.

Mularam, a resident of Dhoba village found a bag on Khuhadi road containing passport, cash worth 520 Pound Sterling, 1,050 Canadian Dollars, USD 550, Rs 10,050 and other items on February 8, DSP Narendra Dave said.

"When the man failed to find the woman at tourist spots, he circulated the picture of the passport on Whats App among his contacts asking them to trace her.

"Soon after, a hotel owner called him and informed that the lady was staying in his hotel and was in Delhi to complete the formalities for getting a duplicate passport," he said.
 

"Mularam deposited the bag and other items in the Kotwali police station following which they were handed over to the Canadian woman yesterday," Dave said.
