"Maps to the Stars" actress Sarah Gadon thinks it is "a bit unfortunate" that female actresses often have to play second fiddle to their male contemporaries.

The 28-year-old star, who has appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" alongside Andrew Garfield and "Maps to the Stars" with Robert Pattinson, does not like being asked about her male co-stars, reported Female First.

"Sometimes I finish an interview and think, 'Wow, they asked me questions entirely about the men I've worked with and nothing about my own work,' and I wonder if I was a man sitting there if they would ask them about all the women they've worked with. That's a bit unfortunate.
