Select pulses prices fell further upto Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on adequate stocks position against easing demand from retailers.
Marketmen said besides adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions, fall in demand from retailers at current levels mainly kept select pulses prices lower.
In the national capital, moong remained at selling pressure and eased to Rs 7,000-7,550 against last close of Rs 7,000-7,750 per quintal. Its dal chilka local, moong dhoya local and best quality followed suit and enquired lower by Rs 200 each to Rs 7,450-7,850, Rs 7,850-8,350 and Rs 8,350-8,550 per quintal, respectively.

Gram, gramdal local and best quality also weakened by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,750-5,150, Rs 4,950-5,250 and Rs 5,250-5,450 per quintal, respectively.
