Seven year old girl raped by neighbour

The girl was lured to his house by her neighbour, a driver by profession, when she was playing outside her home at Sonai area and allegedly raped her yesterday, the police said.

The girl's father filed an FIR at Sonai police station and a search has been launched to nab the absconding man.

The girl has been sent to Silchar Medical College Hospital for medical examination, the police added.
