Seven-year-old raped

A minor girl was allegedly raped

by a man here, police said today.

The parents of the girl in their complaint to the police said that yesterday was their daughter's birthday and they had gone out to make some purchase. But when they returned, the victim told them that she was lured away by one Chote Das, who raped her.

A case has been registered against the accused and investigation is on, police said.
