Delivering the keynote address at a seminar on RTI Act-2005 at the Haryana Agriculture University here, she said under this Act every public authority was duty bound to provide information sought by any citizen of India.
"The digitisation would facilitate supply of correct and complete information within the stipulated time frame," she said.
On the occasion, HAU Vice-Chancellor, K S Khokhar said the RTI Act has been successful in changing the mindset of the public functionaries.
He also stressed on digitisation of records so that people can have an easy and quick access to the information.
