India today asked Ukraine to simplify its visa regime for Indian students and others at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries here.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin held discussion on key bilateral and regional issues.
"Strengthening bilateral ties with a friendly country, EAM @SushmaSwaraj welcomes FM of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on his official visit to India," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

"At the delegation level talks, EAM @SushmaSwaraj urged simplification of visa process for Indian students and others going to Ukraine," he said.
There are over 8,000 Indian students enrolled in various Ukrainian medical/technical universities.
