Six infants die in Malda Medical College Hospital

At least six infants born "underweight and malnourished", five of them new born, have died at Malda Medical College Hospital here, hospital official said today.

Six infants including five new born have died since yesterday, Malda Medical College Hospital, Medical Superintendent-cum Vice-Principal Dr M A Rashid said today.

Rashid said most of the infants were born underweight and malnourished.
