Delhi Metro services on its Blue Line was hit by a delay late tonight due to some issue with overhead wires.
According to a Metro official, "Some OHE issue occurred between Dwarka and Dwarka Sector-14 stations at around 10.30 P.M. That led to a bunching of trains, which caused a delay in the services on the Blue Line."
Some passengers claimed that they had seen sparks in the overhead wires just before their train came to a halt at the Sector 14 station.

Metro officials, however, did not elaborate on the cause behind the snag even as some commuters claimed they were stuck for more than an hour on the Blue Line route.
The glitch-prone Blue Line had last week seen passengers face a tough time after an overhead wire snapped at Yamuna Bank station.
Passengers of the jam-packed, evening rush-hour train were forced to get down on to the elevated tracks between Lakshmi Nagar and Yamuna Bank and walk all the way to the stations.
