Sofia Vergara says she accepted Jon Favreau's film 'Chef' without even reading the script

The actress plays the role of the ex-wife of Favreau's character.

"I said yes the moment I found out that Jon was writing and directing a film. All this happened even before I read the script," Vergara said in a statement.

The film will release in India on June 13.
