Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority and District Legal Services Authorities will conduct special Adalats for people of the rain affected areas enabling them to get their documents such as voter ID and other government related Documents, Justice R. Sudhakar today said.
He was present in Madras High Court to handover the flood relief kits to IAS officer Gagan Deep Singh, in charge of flood relief works in Cuddalore.
Madras High Court in association with Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Madras High Court Legal Services Authority, State government, Madras High Court Lawyers, Supreme Court Bar Association, and Indian Bank has sent flood relief materials to Cuddalore.
About 300 kits were handed over to Gagan Deep Singh by Justice Sudhakar to Gagan Deep Singh.
The kits, containing articles such as 5 kg rice and other essentials required for 15 days per family, were loaded in a lorry.
