Nickel prices gained 0.26 per cent to Rs 763.50 per kg in futures trade today on the back of rising demand from alloy makers at spot markets.
Nickel for delivery in current month moved up by Rs 2 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 763.50 per kg, in a business turnover of 1,445 lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Metal for delivery in November also rose by a similar margin to quote at Rs 768.80 per kg in 29 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in nickel prices at futures trade to rising demand from alloy makers at domestic spot markets.
