J Satyanarayana, Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, said here the 'Mee Seva' (at your service) offers launched an year ago by the state government provides about 45 citizen services like issuing caste certificate and date of birth certificate in about 15-20 minutes which earlier used to take about 10-15 days.
The state government can share its experience with other states so that they can take benefit of the scheme, the official said, speaking at 'e-India 2012', dubbed as India's largest information and communication technology event.
State's Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who inaugurated the event, agreed to the suggestion made by the Union Secretary.
The Secretary also said various citizen services were being offered to 8.2 crore people, which is planned to be increased to 15 crore by 2013 and and 30 crore by 2014.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, the 'Mee Seva' scheme has succeeded in eliminating corruption to a great extent and delivered services to the people with speed and transparency.

As the state government was giving subsidies to the tune of Rs 26,000 crore every year to different sections of people, it planned to tap Information Technology to plug leakages and eliminate corruption, he said.

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Ponnala Laxmaiah said a world- class Media City in Hyderabad to promote animation and gaming, three hardware clusters and IT towers in Visakhapatnam are among the initiatives taken by the state government in the IT sector in recent times.
The state government has allotted 30 acres of land for the Media City project, he said, addressing the The Media City initiative is aimed at tapping the huge animation and gaming market both within the country and abroad.
The minister had led a delegation to Dubai and London to get knowledge on media cities. The global market size for animation is expected to be USD 80 billion respectively during the current year, while in India it is estimated at USD one billion.
Three hardware clusters, first in the new policy of the Centre, will come up in AP, besides two new IT Towers in Visakhapatnam and one each in tier two cities of Warangal, Tirupati, Kakinada and Karimnagar.
Among the highlights of IT progress in Hyderabad, he said, the city ranks third globally in terms of cost of operations after Qinding in China and Subaya in Malaysia.
