Sugar ends stable on sporadic demand

Sugar prices closed steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today.

Marketmen said small buying support amid restricted supplies, mainly held the sweetener prices steady at previous levels.

Following are today's quotations per quintal:

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,350-3,550; S-30 Rs 3,330-3,530.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,130-3,330; S-30 Rs 3,110-3310.

Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,240; Kinnoni 3,335; Asmoli 3,285; Dorala 3,240; Budhana 3,240; Thanabhavan 3,230; Dhanora 3,230; Simbholi 3,300; Modi Nagar Rs 3,245; Khatuli 3,290; Dhampur 3,210; Ramala 3,150; Bulandshar 3,210; Anupshar 3,130; Baghpat 3,160; Morna 3,150; Sakoti 3,190; Chandpur 3,190 and Nazibabad 3,140.
