Sugar prices ends stable in lacklustre trade

Sugar prices ended stable in a lacklustre trade at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to lack of buying activity.

Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,042/3,142 (Rs 3,042/3,142).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,162/3,372 (Rs 3,162/3,372).
