Sugar ends stable in mute trade

Sugar prices ended stable in an otherwise mute Vashi wholesale market here today in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,752/2,905 (Rs 2,752/2,905.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,922/3,032 (Rs 2,922/3,032).
