Techie dies in road accident

A 26-year-old software engineer of a multinational company died in an accident in the early hours here today, police said.

Abhishek, who was employed with Dell and a native of Bihar, was returning home after a late night party on his motorcycle when the mishap occurred, police said.

His vehicle missed a speed-breaker and hit a footpath following which he was flung off the vehicle and died on the spot due to head injury, police said, adding, he was not wearing helmet.
