Teenage girl abducted, gangraped in UP

A 15 year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gangraped in Bachchi Majha village under Umri Begumganj police station area of the district, police said today.

The girl was kidnapped by two people of her village on June 1 and was rescued here today, Superintendent of police Chandra Prakash said.

The duo identified as Kunne and Mahipat have been arrested, he said adding, a case of rape has been registered and the girl has been sent for post mortem.
