With the arrest of three persons, police today claimed to have busted a gang of thieves active in west Delhi, police said.
According to police, the arrested have been identified as Charanjeet Singh, Karan Sharma and Abdul Wahid who used to purchase stolen property.
"Police got information that two thieves were coming towards Nihal Vihar area with a stolen generator. Police laid a trap and arrested Charanjeet Singh and Karan Sharma," said a senior police officer.

The officer also said that the duo told police that Abdul Wahid recently purchased a stolen generator from them.
"Acting on information, police today arrested Abdul Wahid near Karkarduma Metro station and recovered a stolen generator from his possession," he said.
Police were interrogating the arrested persons to know about their hideouts and accomplices.
