Three killed, 32 injured in accidents

Three persons including two children were killed and at least 32 injured in two road accidents in Tripura, the police said today.

A tribal person and two children were killed on the spot and 17 injured when a passenger jeep fell in a gorge while negotiating a sharp curve at Thaiyachandrapara, a remote tribal hamlet in Dhalai district, about 110 km from here last night, they said.

In another accident on the same day, 15 people were wounded when two vehicles collided against each other at Ambassa, the district headquarters of Dhalai. The injured were admitted to a hospital, they added.
