Three school students drown in Burhi Gandak river in Khagaria

Three school students drowned in Burhi Gandak river near Aghauri Asthan of Bihar's Khagaria district today.

Town police Station House Officer M K Khan said that the deceased have been identified as Adarsh Kumar, Saurabh Kumar and Aman Kumar.

All the three were students of DAV School located at Rajendra Nagar of the town.

Khan said that these students, residents of Mahinath Nagar village, had gone to take bath in the river after immersing the idol of Goddess Sarswati.

The students went into deep waters and met their watery grave.

Bodies of all the three students have been fished out from the river and have been sent for the post-mortem at Sadar hospital.
