Two persons died on the spot and another was injured when a truck turned turtle and fell on them in the outskirts of Jammu city today.
The deceased have been identified as Pawan Kumar and Mohinder Singh, police said.
One Deedar Singh was injured when the driver of a truck lost control on it which turned turtle and crushed the three persons who were standing on the road side at Narwal area of the city, a police officer said.
Singh has been shifted to the hospital for treatment whereas the bodies of the deceased have also been shifted to the hospital for postmortem, he said.
Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the driver, who escaped from the spot.
