Vidarbha in grip of heat-wave

Vidarbha region of Maharashtra today reeled under heat-wave conditions with Chandrapur district the hottest at 44.6 degrees Celsius temperature.

Chandrapur was followed by Wardha (44.5 degrees Celsius), Akola (44.1) and Nagpur (43.7).

Following are the temperatures of other important places in the region. Akola (44.1), Amravati (42.2), Buldana (41.5), Gondia (41.3), Washim (41.4), Brahampuri (44.2) and Yavatmal (42.6).
