Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,168.00 crore in 55 trades.

The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 600 crore at weighted yield of 6.97 per cent, the 7.72 per cent government securities maturing in CG2025 traded value at Rs 300 crore at weighted yield of 7.02 per cent and the 7.68 per cent government securities maturing in CG2023 traded at Rs 50 crore at weighted yield of 6.96 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 17,968.92 crore and the total number of trades was 431.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 6,083.36 crore as on Sept 26, while the lowest was Rs 2,168.00 crore as of today (September 30).
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.62 per cent, 6.80 per cent, 6.95 per cent and 7.07 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days were 6.49 per cent, 6.54 per cent and 6.60 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 11,815.12 crore, representing 65.75 per cent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 6,153.80 crore, representing 34.25 per cent, an NSE release said.
