Wheat prices rebound 0.67% in futures trade

Wheat prices recovered by 0.67 per cent to Rs 1,658 per quintal in futures trading today as speculators built up fresh positions.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, wheat for delivery in far-month April moved up by Rs 11, or 0.67 per cent to Rs 1,658 per quintal with an open interest of 3,380 lots.
Similarly, the wheat for delivery in March contracts edged up by Rs 2, or 0.12 per cent to Rs 1,637 per quintal in 3,730 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in wheat futures to speculative positions created by traders.
