Woman jumps to death from building in Hyderabad

A 33-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the terrace of her residence here along with her two-year-old daughter, who sustained injuries, following a quarrel with her husband, police said Sunday.

The incident happened on late Saturday night, when the woman had gone to the fourth-floor of the building in Kukatpally here along with her daughter reportedly following an argument over a petty issue with her husband and leaped off, they said.

Both were immediately shifted to a hospital, where the woman was declared brought dead, they added.

The woman's daughter was undergoing treatment, police said.
