Woman's charred body found

The charred body of a

30-year-old unidentified woman was recovered from near a graveyard in Parsudih on the outskirts of the steel city today, police said.

The body was charred beyond recognition, police said adding that the woman, suspected to belong to a tribal community was murdered and her body burnt.

"We are gathering information about any woman reported missing in the adjoining police stations as no clue was yet available about the victim's identity.

Police sent the body for post-mortem.
