A woman sustained serious burns after a cooking stove burst at her house in Kushiapala village in Kendrapara rural police station in Odisha today, police said.
The injured Madhumita Mallick (25) was shifted to SCB Medical College Hospital at Cuttack in critical condition with about 80 burns, they said.
Madhumita was cooking on a kerosene stove. After pouring in kerosene, she was pumping the stove when it, her spouse Mitu Mallick said.
