A youth allegdly tried to assault his 3-year-old neighbour in Shival village falling under Barsana police station here.
"The youth Jagveer has been booked," police said.
According to the FIR, he allegedly lured the girl by offering her a sweet yesterday, following which he tried to undress her.
"Upon hearing the girl crying, the family members rushed and rescued her while the youth fled," police said.
SP (rural) Arun Kumar Singh said that hunt for the youth is on.
