Zoramthanga congrats Thio for becoming Myanmar VP

Former chief minister and opposition Mizo National Front (MNF) president Zoramthanga has congratulated Van Thio, the newly elected Vice President of Myanmar.

In an e-mail sent to him yesterday, Zoramthanga said, "Congratulations on the success of your election as the Vice President of Union of Myanmar."

Van Thio belonged to the Chin-Kuki-Mizo ethnic group and was known to be close to Aung Saan Suu Kyi.
