FIFA 2018: Everton's Sigurðsson features in debutant Iceland's 23-man squad

Burnley's Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Cardiff City's Aron Gunnarsson have also been included in the 23-man list

Iceland head coach Heimir Hallgrimsson has named the country's first-ever World Cup squad including many of the players that were a part of the team that made a dream run to the quarter-finals of UEFA EURO 2016.

Iceland became the lowest populated country to finish at the group topper of World Cup 2018 qualifiers and win the ticket to Russia. On its way to Russia, the Nordic nation defeated World Cup regulars Croatia, Ukraine and Turkey, finishing the group stage as table toppers.
