AksharChem to temporarily shutdown vinyl sulphone plant at Mehsana
The shutdown, effective from August 12, 2016 to August 27, 2016, will be undertaken for carrying out repair and maintenance work at the site
AksharChem India Ltd, a chemical manufacturing firm, will temporarily shutdown its vinyl sulphone plant at Mehsana, Gujarat, for repair and maintenance purpose from August 12, 2016. “The company has taken a planned shutdown of vinyl sulphone plant at Mehsana district to carry out major repairs and maintenance with effect from August 12, 2016 which will effect vinyl sulphone production for the quarter ending September 2016. The shutdown is expected to last up to August 27, 2016,” said AksharChem in a BSE filing on July 29, 2016.
