Indo Amines acquires Key Organics

Acquired entity to become subsidiary of Indo Amines

Indo Amines Ltd, a manufacturer of fine & speciality chemicals, perfumery chemicals and active pharmaceuticals ingredients, has acquired Key Organics - a provider of chemistry services and research compounds to the global life science industries. In its BSE filing, Indo Amines stated that the company has entered in to the agreement dated October 06, 2013 with directors of Key Organics Pvt Ltd for acquisition of shares amounting to 97.85%. With this, Key Organics Pvt Ltd will become a subsidiary of Indo Amines.

Key Organics Pvt Ltd is engaged in the business of production of organic chemicals with 4,500 metric tonne per annum installed production capacity. Indo Amines, which has four manufacturing sites - at Baroda, Dombivli, Rabale and Dhule, manufactures products that are used in various industries like pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, fertilisers, petrochemicals, road construction, pesticides, perfumery chemicals, dyes and intermediates, etc.
