2 drown after boat capsizes in Mahananda River

Malda (West Bengal), Oct 04 (ANI): Two people drowned after boat carrying passengers capsized in Mahananda River on October 03. According to Malda District Magistrate, Kaushik Bhattacharya, two people have died and 28 have been rescued. NDRF personnel are present at the spot. The boat was carrying people to Katihar in Bihar from Malda in West Bengal.
