Colonel General Oleg Salyukov visits Golden Temple in Amritsar

Amritsar (Punjab), Mar 13 (ANI): Colonel General Oleg Salyukov offered prayers at Golden Temple in Amritsar on Wednesday. Presently, he is Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Ground Forces. Chief Secretary of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Roop Singh welcomed Colonel General. He visited the temple and praised its beauty. Roop Singh also gifted him a small model of Harmandir Sahib and holy books. While addressing the mediapersons, Colonel General Oleg Salyukov expressed his gratitude towards Harmandir Sahib Committee and also thanked them for giving the opportunity. He also relished the 'langar' system of Gurudwara.
